Orphaned Oi Lin (Tang Wei) lives with and works for her uncle and aunt (her mother’s brother and his wife) in a bathroom appliances store onLockhart Road. She is in a relationship with Xu (Andy On) which her uncle disapproves, due to his often run in with the law. He thus setup a match-making lunch for her and Loy with Loy’s mother. Loy and Oi Lin did not fall for each other at their first meeting. But their families kept their hopes up. Loy’s mother made Loy deliver a dehumidifier to Oi Lin’s store personally. Then Oi Lin’s uncle made her go for tea with Loy at a nearby Cha chaan teng (Honolulu Coffee Shop). The two stuck up a friendship after discovering a mutual interest in detective stories.

Lau) a police officer from the year 2080 and his wife Millie (Bingbing Fan) are summoned to protect Dr. Masterson (Jingwu Ma), who is known as the “Father of Solar Energy” due to creating a cheap method to replace fossil fuel with solar energy. Because of Dr. Masterson’s creation, oil tycoons have made several attempts on the life of Dr. Masterson. The Special Force of the police department has received credible information that an army of humanoids (half-man/half-machine) led by Kalon (Siu-Wong Fan) & Fiona (Yifei Tang) are set to ambush Dr. Masterson at the Convention Center. At the Convention Center a fierce battle ensues that leaves Kidd’s wife Millie and all of the humanoids dead, except for Kalon & Fiona. The oil tycoons then steal the secrets of time travel to send revamped 2.0 versions of Kalon & Fiona to the year 2020 to murder Dr. Masterson when he was a 12 year old kid. The government learns of the oil tycoons plans to go back in time and this is when Kidd volunteers to have radical surgery to transform himself into a bionic man with mechanical arms and legs. He then travels back to 2020 with his daughter Kiki, who will go to the same school as the young Dr. Masterson. Kidd works as a police officer in 2020, to avoid suspicion of his background, while fellow police officer Holly (Barbie Hsu) becomes attracted to Kidd. Knowing he will go back to 2080 after his mission is complete he is unable to return Holly’s affection for him.

4 Blades (Imperial Guards), directed by Daniel Lee and stars Donnie Yen and Vicki Zhao, is expected to begin production in Hengdian in a month or two. During the Ming Dynasty, the Emperor of China possessed one weapon greater than all others, the Imperial Guards, an elite force of assassins recruited from street orphans. Trained in clandestine combat from childhood, the Imperial Guards were masters of the 14 Blades, eight being for torture, five for killing, and the last blade being reserved for suicide when a mission failed. Above the law, with a license to kill, the Imperial Guards devoted their lives and lethal prowess to the service of the Emperor alone. When the Imperial Court is taken over by evil eunuch Jia, the best of the Imperial Guards, Green Dragon and Xuanwu, are assigned to steal a list identifying those still loyal to the Emperor. However unbeknownst to Green Dragon, the Imperial Guards have fallen under the control of Jia, and during the mission Green Dragon is betrayed by Xuanwu and barely escapes with his life. Now as the most wanted man in the land Green Dragon must seek out and rally the loyalists to rise against Jia and restore the Emperor to power. In his way are the deadliest assassins in the land, his former brethren, the Imperial Guards. Donnie Yen will play Green Dragon, while Vicki Zhao someone the former runs into while he is on the run.

Set in 1930s China, the film details the trials of a group of athletes who desire to compete in the Olympic Games. There’s a snag, however. The full amount required to send them abroad for the games is 600,000 dollars, and the government is only sponsoring half. It falls to the athletes to raise the rest themselves, and they start by saving every last penny they earn. They also attempt to raise the money through a variety of fund-raising activities, including street performances, networking for donations, and probably a bake sale, too. After deciding to fund their own way to the games, the athletes take to the streets to perform all manner of athletic demonstrations and martial arts moves in an energetic and impromptu street fair.

Part Jackie Chan promo, part China studio tour, “Looking for Jackie” is a cameo-packed swing through the mainland’s industry via the slapdash plot of a teen martial-arts student trying to track down the superstar in Beijing. During the Ming Dynasty, a eunuch Yin wants to carve his own kingdom with his secret organization East Chamber. Disappointed, Chow decides to take the children away alone. Having kept an eye on them, Yin dispatches his army and a war between good and evil begins.

Red Cliff - Part II (2009)
Bitter over an unforeseen defeat to rival states Shu and Wu, Cao Cao (Fengyi Zhang) of the Wei Kingdom is confident that his million-man fleet will crush the under-manned alliance once and for all.
